This is a modern Japanese calligraphy workshop by calligraphy artist Sachiko Harada.
You will create your own original design postcard using the "comoji" dip pen supervised by MARVY and Sachiko Harada, and "Wind Ink" which features the names of ancient Japanese winds.
You will be tracing and completing the piece, so even beginners can participate with confidence.
Enjoy creating typography illustrations with comoji while learning the basics of modern Japanese calligraphy.

Profile of Sachiko Harada
Calligraphy artist/script designer Born in Kanazawa, Ishikawa Prefecture. Grew up in Yokohama and California, USA. Graduated from Kanazawa College of Art, Department of Design. Worked as an art director/graphic designer at a major department store before going independent. Mainly works on providing designs to companies, supervising products, and teaching. Based on the concept of "a new way to enjoy Japanese," he conveys Japanese culture through a calligraphy style that combines East and West, making use of his experience living abroad.
