This is a workshop on making birthday cards using ink, led by Kazuko Sakuma, a stationery concierge at Daikanyama T-Site.
Draw an animal or bird on a blank card (paper) using a dip pen (or a fountain pen of your own) and ink, and then add a birthday message.
We will provide you with sample animals and tracing paper if you request them in advance (when making your reservation), so even those who aren't very artistic can participate with confidence, as they will be able to trace them.
First, we will explain the tools used (the characteristics of dip pens and inks and points to be careful about), and then we will give you some tips on how to make the requested animal (bird) look more realistic.
The remaining time will be spent by participants drawing.
