[DAIKANYAMA drawing] Danae Lettering - Spreading the joy of letters! A one-of-a-kind lettering workshop on 4/20 and 4/23

This workshop will allow you to create your own hand-drawn lettering work, led by lettering artist Danae.
We will use the five fonts introduced in Danae's book "Easy! Fun! Quick Lettering with Your Everyday Pen" to draw motivational phrases.

On the day, we will explain the characteristics and writing methods of each font in an easy-to-understand manner, and also share tips on arranging them. After warming up through practice, you will choose your favorite phrase from several samples and finish it by arranging the font with your own imagination.
Simply paste your completed work into the special paper frame we provide and it will be transformed into a beautiful piece of art!
Once you've completed your artwork, you can hang it on the wall or display it somewhere visible.

The lettering portion is palm-sized, so it can be easily used in your own planners and notebooks, and may be a chance to casually incorporate handwritten letters into your daily life. This is a program that even those who are new to lettering or who are not confident can participate with peace of mind. Why not join us and enjoy the charm of handwritten letters in the new season?

[What you will receive]
・ Text (approximately A5 size)
・Paper set for artwork (including paper frame)
・3 different sized millimeter pens ・Glue tape ・Tracing paper ・New stickers ・Lettering tattoo stickers ・Mineral water with stickers (210ml)
・BOX to put the above in
*Scissors, white pens, metallic pens, glitter pens, etc. will be loaned out on the day.

What to bring:

Danae Profile

Lettering Artist
Fascinated by the world of hand-drawn letters since 2016, he self-taught himself brush lettering, specializing in brush pens. Currently, he is expanding the world of hand-drawn letters with his own unique style that is not bound by rules, using a variety of tools such as markers, ballpoint pens, and colored pencils in addition to brush pens.
In addition to providing works to magazines, books, and corporate media, she engages in a wide range of activities with companies both in Japan and abroad, such as designing titles for product packages and live calligraphy at events. In September 2024, she will publish her first book, "Easy! Fun! A Little Lettering with Your Everyday Pen" (Nagaoka Shoten).
Mainly active on social media, she posts works in Japanese, English, and Spanish, and continues to use her imagination to share the joy of hand-drawn lettering with as many people as possible.
