This is a workshop where you can enjoy sketching while appreciating the colors, shapes, and scents of flowers with Shiho Sakurai.
We will teach you the basics of how to observe and draw botanical illustrations, as well as techniques for making them look lively and attractive.
This lesson is recommended for those who want to try drawing plants but don't know how to start, or for those who find that drawing flowers ends up looking childish.
You can take home a ceramic pen rest and a flower motif.

Shiho Sakurai Profile
Illustrator/Designer Born in Tokyo. After graduating from the Department of Sculpture at the Faculty of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts, she worked as an art teacher at a private junior and senior high school and in product planning for baby products before going independent. She is involved in a wide range of activities, including providing work to various parties, textile design, lecturing, and supervising educational materials.
Her books include "Trace, Draw, Give, Decorate: Your First Glass Pen Lesson Book" (Hobby Japan) and "Botanical Illustration & Hand Lettering LESSON: Beginners Can Draw in 10 Minutes" (KADOKAWA).
